Subi Chaturvedi, a well-known thought leader and advocate for inclusive technological innovation, was awarded the Corporate Leader of the Year Award for Excellence in Artificial Intelligence by Amity University.
Currently serving as the Co-Chair of the US-India AI Taskforce, she is also at the forefront of empowering women in technology through KDEM’s (Karnataka Digital Economy Mission) Women at Work community for AI. She has been instrumental in shaping policy and capacity-building efforts, including the establishment of Uttar Pradesh’s AI Committee.
Her extensive work includes conducting workshops on AI adoption for MSMEs, startups, bureaucrats, and parliamentarians and policy makers, underscoring her commitment to democratizing AI knowledge.
Chaturvedi efforts have ensured that India’s technological growth remains inclusive, ethical, and globally competitive, especially with the launch of the FIST, GUARDIAN and UP-AI frameworks.
She has emerged as a significant voice in the Global South on AI, championing the perspectives of developing countries, emerging economies, small island nations, and landlocked nations in net governance.
The award ecognises her outstanding contributions to advancing India’s AI ecosystem, fostering a progressive policy environment and driving the adoption of Responsible AI across industries.
Chaturvedi said as India stands at the crossroads of innovation and responsibility, it is crucial to ensure that technology serves humanity equitably.
“I am committed to fostering an inclusive AI ecosystem where diversity and ethics drive innovation, positioning India as a global AI powerhouse,” she said at the 18th International Conference on AI Revolution: Opportunities, Challenges, and the Path Forward, hosted by Amity Gurgaon, Haryana.
